I believe in sacred places. They exist. Like spiritual umbilical cords, they connect humanity with the divine - nurturing our souls, refreshing our spirits, and removing both the mundane and profane from our existence. In sacred places, our minds, hearts, and souls connect with and are prepared for a higher existence. They help to remove the blinders from our vision, allowing us to see past mortality, opening grand vistas of the eternal and sublime.

I this video I explore, from a Christian and Latter-day-Saint perspective, the importance of pilgrimages to places where God and humankind intersect. I explore the importance of mindfulness in anchoring us, and consider which places are, or should be pilgrimage sites for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and other faithful believers looking for a more mindful relation with their creator and fellow pilgrims.
